Bow and Headband Holder

I have been promising this post for a while so here we go!! Supplies! Wood: whatever size/ shape you want but for this one a square or rectangle would work best. You will need about a ½ yard of a fabric of your choice, ribbon to match and a staple gun or hot glue, or even both.
So I started by sanding, priming and painting the solid color on the board, I added my little phrases and let that dry completely.

For the fabric I I measured the width of the board and cut two pieces of fabric with about a half inch space on each side. Cut one for a pocket for me I made one piece mimick the board since I folded it for the pocket and one piece exactly double that for the backing. Now sew them together like so (one on top of each other , the smaller one lined up with the bottom of the fabric) I did mine so that I could flip it over and not have to worry about the cut ends of the fabric… if that makes sense, it took me some testing to figure it out.… on mine I messed up a little so I ended up sewing the ribbon to the back but it worked just perfectly but instead you can put the ribbon in between while you sew the fabric pieces together.
The one with the hooks
So once I have my fabric pieces I staple gun the fabric to the board  and also staple the top ribbon to hang it on the wall. I have a couple variations of this and since this is  one is for babies I did not add the cup hooks because they aren’t going to be wearing hard headbands in the near future but the next one they get will for sure have the cup hooksIf you want to add cup hooks like the black and white one well then just buy them from the store and screw them into the wood- it is really easy

I am making myself one of these now too for my upcoming craft show so you will see one with the hooks soon too!  Wooot wooot
