Homemade Pizza

Woo Friday!

I don’t know about you but this week has been crazy long, at least to me. I have no idea why but all week I have been a day ahead.

It really was a drag of a week, doing mostly only schoolwork and cooking. So I am pretty stoked today that I am going to the quilting, crafting and sewing expo for a couple of hours!

After the Expo Nico and I are going to Raceway for the Lemon races, he does some pit work for his teacher’s car. I will be there watching, playing with clay and working on my studying for my final that is next week. It should be a fun weekend… did I mention it is supposed to pour all weekend and the raceway is outside… so maybe fun isn’t the best word but I still think it will be a good time.

So last week I made some pork tenderloin and had a lot leftover so I made a homemade pizza to go with it. I used the pizza dough that is posted here: Pizza Dough

Though I was not sure that I loved it, so I will try it again and then go from there.

So once the dough was done I stretched it out and it ended up kind of a square, so I let it be.

I decided to stuff the crust using string cheese that I had cut in half length wise.

I laid them out then folded the crust over and sealed the fold with a fork.

I then put my sauce. I did a BBQ Ranch since I was putting a BBQ Pork on top and was going for a BBQ Chicken Pizza Type theme.

I topped with some cheddar, mozzerella & pepperjack. You can use any cheese that your heart desires.

I then topped with the chopped bbq pork pieces and sliced shallots.

I baked my pizza in a 500 degree oven for 10-12 minutes.

It was pretty good for my first pizza. I do need to work on the dough though! :]

Yay for another pinspired meal creation.

Have a good day everyone.

P.S. Did I mention it was Nico's friends brithday last week so I made an Angry Bird Cake & a Giant Cupcake??

well I did :] Oh and I am going to be taking the Wilton Cake Decorating Classes at Michael's in April, I have made up my mind! :)
