Garden Markers

Happy Memorial Day!

Before I get into the crafting goodness I wanted to say thanks to all who fought for our country and paid the ultimate sacrifice defending out beautiful country!

In honor of the red, white and blue I made a yummy bundt cake courtesy of Betty Crocker.  It was red, white and blue all the way around from the inside out!

It was a super yummy cake and really pretty easy too! Overall we had a super fun day, I hope yours was awesome too!

Now since it is super nice and warm it is time for my garden to become beautiful! I switched things around on my garden patio last week. I got a window box for all my herbs, strawberry plant, pepper plant and green onions. Since I changed things around I wanted to make garden markers and intended to get popsicle sticks and then paint them with chalkboard paint but I couldn’t find any popsicle sticks at the store but I found clothes pins and paint pens!

It was totally easy and works perfect! I love super easy projects!!

But if you do not use planters and still need markers you can use popsicle sticks with chalkboard paint or paint stirrers with chalk paint or flattened spoons or an array of super cute ideas from Pinterest. I have a million ideas pinned so be sure to follow me. :]

Stay crafty my friends! :]
