Salmon Burgers

Hi friends!

I know I didn’t post Whip it up Wednesday and that is because I decided to not continue it for now.  It is on a timeout. I want to focus more on crafting more and sharing more recipes and tutorials instead of focusing on creating a link up party.

Now I have a recipe for Salmon burgers I am going to share today but first I have to bring up sickness. I know a little random but I was feeling ill yesterday and all I asked was Nico bring me a ginger ale. Mind you I texted him at like 12 cause he gets off school at that time. He then says he is staying late, no big deal I work until 4 so I wasn’t going to lay down until then but then he goes to his friend’s to watch the game….. Leaving sick ole me ginger aleless and having to take care of puppy dog…. Oh and when he came home no ginger ale, no Gatorade, no nothing and when I ask about it, “I thought you were asleep”. I was furious! Any time he is sick if he asks for Chicken Noodle Soup he gets homemade Chicken Noodle Soup! If he asks for anything he gets it but when I am sick and ask for one thing I get nothing! Basically what I am getting at is boys are babies when they are sick- they expect everything but when you get sick you have to do everything yourself!

So now that my rant about boys and being ill I will finally post how I made salmon burgers.

Ingredients:
Salmon fillet
Mayonnaise
Lemon Juice
Italian dressing
Parsley
Breadcrumbs
Olive oil
Salt
Pepper

Ok so first take the salmon fillet and season it with olive oil, salt and pepper put the pan in a cold oven, turn the oven to 400 and let it cook for 20-25 minutes depending on how thick the fillet is.

Let the salmon cool and once cool flake it apart into a mixing container.

Mix in mayonnaise, lemon juice, chopped parsley, olive oil and Italian dressing, only about 1tbs of each and mix together.

Form a patty from the mixture and coast in breadcrumbs and lightly brown in a pan with some olive oil for 1-2 minutes per side.

Serve on a bun with red onion, lettuce, and any other dressing items you like.

After I took the picture I added a lettuce blend and Italian dressing to give it more of a saucy taste. I really enjoyed it!

It was a nice change from the normal burger! I have been thinking of other creations so I am working on more tutorials for you! :]

Stay Crafty!
