Has the fact that Thanksgiving is a little over a week away hit you yet? It hasn’t really hit me but maybe since I am only making a pie this year… and then I will make a mini Thanksgiving when I get home for the sake of having leftovers.

Now we have made turkey, gravy, stuffing, and don’t forget about the cranberry salsa appetizer.

And keeping with Thanksgiving what goes better with turkey then some amazing cranberries.  I have to admit I hated, I mean despised, I mean didn’t enjoy cranberries until I found this recipe. This recipe is the bees knees of cranberries if you ask me.

It makes a lot but they are amazing.  So here we go you need:
  • 2 bags cranberries
  •   2 cups sugar
  • 3/4 cup brandy
  • Square Glass Pan
  • Foil
It is important it is a glass pan, I do not know why but it is super important so make sure the pan is glass.
Preheat the oven to 350, in the pan add the cranberries, sugar and brandy and carefully mix it together. It is a stuffed pan so be careful. Cover the pan with foil and cook for 45 minutes. **Place foil or a cookie sheet on the rack below just in case**

After 45 minutes remove from over, take off the foil, stir the cranberries and cook an additional 30 minutes, uncovered.

Let the cranberries cool and serve cold.

I make my cranberries the night before since oven space on the big day is very limited in my house.

I feel I need to share that this recipe has converted Cranberry Jelly lovers! It is just that good!
