I really don't like the phrase dieting.. I would say for me it is more healthy eating...
Anyways the point that I am trying to make is that y'all are going to luck out since I am making changes to my diet I am going to be posting some awesome and yummy recipes.
No I won't stop posting desserts or anything yummy as my dieting beliefs are that of moderation. I don't think you should deny yourself anything as then you just want it that much more and that I think is what causes diet to fail.
So now that you know where I stand let's brain storm! I came up with a list of healthy lunch ideas that I can premake. I have searched pinterest and my brain and I know there are more ideas but so far these are on the top of my to do list.
- Ground Turkey, Egg and Veggie Scramble with Salsa
- Veggie Pasta Salad
- California Rolls and Edamame
- BBQ Chicken Quinoa Salad
- Zucchini Ribbon Salad
- Tuna Salad
- Tuna Lettuce Wraps
- Siracha Deviled Eggs
- Green Bean Salad
- Pad Thai
Lately I have been brining in salad using organic spring mix, cucumbers, tomatoes, feta, cranberries and a lemon vinegarette I made using
2 lemons, 1/4 cup olive oil, salt, pepper and garlic
It has been nice and refreshing and well I love lemon so it is epically amazing to me!
Along with the salad I have been making a pinwheel out of a tortilla, the laughing cow wedges, turkey and green onion. It is just enough.
That along with snacks that is.
Moderation & lots of water.. I can do this!
