Lazy Prep

This prep is what I like to call my lazy prep. It is the prep I do when I really don't want to cook or even pack my lunch yet I still do.
This involved a store bought cooked rotisserie chicken. My veggie was simply some steamed baby carrots with some olive oil I can't believe it's not butter. I packed some raspberries for a snack and watermelon to go with my chicken and carrots for lunch. The packaged cups of grapefruit from Costco I ate for breakfast with 2 hard boiled eggs.

This wasn't as pretty as the others and wasn't as complex but it worked. I did get tired of chicken and carrots by the end of the week since it was all the same but it still was healthier than going to McDonald's or In N Out or any other places around.

If you don't have the time to prep store bought cooked rotisserie chickens are great! Bags of salad are also equally as great as long as you take a minute to portion out the dressing for the week.

Other good "lazy" choices are some of the healthy choice steamers meal, they taste good and aren't too heavy.

The point is that there are options out there besides fast, greasy, cheap food and it is all about finding them!

Stay Crafty
